If you are looking for a Breakdance Builder developer who has been working with the builder since its early days, Md Moniruzzaman Monir is one name worth checking out.
I’m Monir, a WordPress developer and founder of WPBuilderPros. I’ve been working with WordPress for more than 5 years and have built 700+ websites for clients, businesses, agencies, and other developers around the world.
Breakdance has been a big part of that journey.
I started working with Breakdance Builder from its early days, when the builder was still new and the WordPress community was getting familiar with it. Breakdance officially released its first beta in July 2022, and I was already working with the builder around that early period.
That means my experience with Breakdance isn’t something I picked up recently just because the builder became popular. I’ve been using it, testing it, building real websites with it, and following its development from the beginning.
There are plenty of people who can build a simple page using a visual builder.
My approach is a little different.
I work on the complete WordPress website — from the initial layout and responsive design to global styles, reusable components, dynamic content, custom CSS, JavaScript, WooCommerce, performance, and the smaller technical details that often make a big difference.
Breakdance gives developers a lot of control over these areas. It includes global colors and typography, responsive controls, dynamic data, template conditions, post loops, WooCommerce tools, custom code, and more.
Because I’ve worked with the builder for years, I don’t just focus on making a page look good inside the editor. I also think about how the website will be maintained and expanded later.
Over the years, I’ve worked on more than 700 websites across different industries and project types.
My experience includes:
I also work with other WordPress builders, including Bricks and Elementor, but Breakdance has become one of the builders I work with most closely.
One of the reasons I enjoy working with Breakdance is the amount of control it gives a developer without making the workflow unnecessarily complicated.
You can build headers, footers, templates, dynamic layouts, reusable blocks, WooCommerce pages, forms, and responsive designs from one system. It also provides developer-focused features such as custom PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Element Studio.
For a freelancer, that flexibility is important.
It means I can take a design from Figma and build it closely instead of forcing the design into a limited template structure.
A large part of my work involves turning designs into functional WordPress websites.
When a client provides a Figma design, my job isn’t simply to copy the desktop version.
I build the website so that it works properly across:
I also set up the global design system, typography, colors, spacing, buttons, containers, responsive behavior and reusable sections so the website remains consistent as new pages are added.
This is where having a strong understanding of Breakdance’s global styling and responsive controls becomes particularly useful.
I also use Breakdance for WooCommerce projects.
Breakdance provides native tools for designing WooCommerce experiences, including product pages, shop layouts, cart and checkout pages, and other store components.
This makes it possible to create a custom store without relying on a large collection of separate page-builder add-ons.
For clients, that can make the website easier to manage and keep the overall setup cleaner.
I don’t consider myself just a “page builder user.”
My background is in WordPress development, so I’m comfortable working outside the visual editor when a project requires it.
That can include:
Breakdance itself provides developer-oriented functionality such as PHP code blocks, custom HTML/CSS/JavaScript and Element Studio, which makes it possible to extend projects beyond standard visual editing.
I don’t only work directly with business owners.
I’ve also worked with agencies and other developers where my role is to handle the WordPress and Breakdance side of the project.
That can mean taking a Figma file and turning it into a complete website, rebuilding an existing website, fixing a Breakdance installation, creating landing pages, or taking over a project that another developer started.
Working on these kinds of projects has taught me something important: good development isn’t only about writing code or making a website look right.
It is also about understanding what the next person will need when they open the website six months later.
Breakdance has changed quite a lot since its early releases.
The builder has continued adding features for designers, developers, WooCommerce users and agencies. Its current feature set includes advanced dynamic data, conditions, global styles, responsive controls, custom code and Element Studio.
Because I started using Breakdance early, I’ve had the opportunity to learn the builder as it developed rather than starting with the latest version and only learning the current feature set.
That long-term experience is one of the things I bring to every Breakdance project.
If you need someone to build a website from Figma, redesign an existing WordPress website, create a landing page, develop a WooCommerce store, or fix an existing Breakdance project, feel free to get in touch.
I’m available for Breakdance Builder freelance work, WordPress development, agency partnerships, and long-term projects.
Not sure whether a freelancer or an agency is the right fit for your project? I wrote a guide on BreakUI about hiring a Breakdance Builder agency or freelancer, covering when you need one and how to choose.
